Every company from large multinationals to one-man bands needs problem solvers. Their ability to relax and to let their mind access those parts of their brain that control creative problem solving is becoming an increasingly prized asset with employers.
By providing situations for the students, where answers are not readily available, they are encouraged to think laterally to succeed at the chosen task. The skills needed to complete these highly participative tasks are the same ones needed to deal with the various situations encountered every day whether at work, home or college.
